6am on a winter Saturday was a great time to head out with my two best friends for some engagement photos in my favorite industrial park. The cold crisp morning air was perfect conditions for enjoying the February morning sunrise as it peaked up between the smoke stacks of the energy factory. As they gazed out at the scene we walked to thesteamboat landing overlooking the Missouri River I remember how they stayed close to share warmth. It was as if they never left the euphoric state of happiness they experienced during their travels to Scotland.
The Town Of Kansas Bridge is named for the village named Kansas that developed after a steamboat landing was established in 1834.
