For years I’ve used the practice of abstraction and transformation to develop my visual aesthetic. I’ve always been fascinated with the notion of changing my perspective on something until it becomes unrecognizable.
My approach to photographing abstract and/or minimalism is from a purist standpoint, meaning, to create something out of nothing by observing the subject in view and its color, composition, and camera crop. Imagination is critical here. “In photography there is a reality so subtle that it becomes more real than reality.” – Alfred Stieglitz
